Eais School Closing - Dec. 14, 2009

Dear Beautiful Grade 11 Students ... I am so sad that the school has closed - just when things were really starting to roll.  You have really made me proud of you this week.

Attached is a letter from Ms. Issa regarding our plan to proceed under these circumstances.  I will be sending you more updates tomorrow.

I will truly miss seeing you these next few weeks . . .

Best,
Ms. Rasha Ghappour

Dearest EAIS students and parents,

As you are aware, we will be closing our doors to students for the coming few weeks- (until after the Christmas break).   This is not, however to be viewed as a vacation for our students.  We are expecting that during the next two weeks students still owe us the time that they would have given us in school.  The only difference is instead of sitting in class, they are on their computers at home.

We are all asking that in order for your student to succeed they have access to a computer (with an English/ Arabic keyboard), the internet, and a printer.  Your GDS tomorrow will be sending you their online schedule of classes and quizzes and well as our school online protocol.  (KG1 to Grade 3 we will be sending you packs with directions for your children to follow.)  Students will still be receiving grades the coming weeks.

The school building will be open if you need to get anything from your child’s locker or class.   ALL teachers will have online office hours for students and parents, and all supervisors, and administration will be available during the school hours.

Thank you for your continued cooperation, support and patience. May you all stay healthy and God Bless you!
